Gather your family together at Wildwood Retreat for great outdoor fun. Our beautiful woodland location (between Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin) gives children of all ages plenty of room to play games, have a picnic, and go barefoot on the lush green, grassy lawn.

If it's a milestone event, present a slide show of photos from their life using the projector and screen provided by Wildwood Retreat.

Bring your camera and pose honored guests and family members outdoors, using a woodlands backdrop of vibrant green.

Explore with the children. Go for a walk on the trails.

Join in quiet conversation with the older adults who will appreciate sitting on the shaded, wrap around porches.

Watch a beautiful pink and gold Wisconsin sunset from the deck.

Sit around a campfire, roast marshmallows, tell stories, and listen to night sounds of nature all around you.

Rain won't stop the fun. You can still enjoy the woodlands setting through the expansive windows of the great rooms. When the meal is over, play games, visit around the fireplaces, watch movies, or hang out on the covered wrap-around deck.

Cook Your Own Food or Have It Catered In

Prepare and serve your family reunion picnic meal using our venue's fully stocked kitchens. You'll find commercial appliances and all the cookware and utensils you need. If you opt to cater the meal, your caterer will appreciate the quality of the kitchen equipment available to them.

Spend the Night at our Retreat Center

Reserve rooms for yourself and family members who have traveled from distant places. Don't worry about the lateness of the hour or if you've had too much of a good time at your party. No need to drive home. Walk down the hall to a comfortable bedroom. Wildwood Lodge can sleep up to 21 guests; Wildwood Cabin, 12. All linens and towels are furnished. Both facilities are fully handicap accessible. Sleep in; check out is not until 3 PM!
